Josie

Sweet Josie has lost both her previous owners. Could the third time be the charm of finding her a forever home? Please open your heart to this girl. Click here to find out more.

Poor Josie has been adopted not once but twice and she is now hoping for a third time.

Josie was just a baby when she first arrived at The Fort Lauderdale Animal Care & Adoption Center. She weighed only seven pounds. Because she was so cute and so small she was almost immediately adopted.

Then on December 16, Josie was found running loose in Miami. We don't know how Josie made it all the way to Miami since she was adopted to a person who lived in Broward County. But somehow she got lost.

Josie was brought back to the Broward shelter and every attempt as made to find her owner, but it was as if her owner had disappeared.

Since the shelter staff were not able to reunite Josie with her owner they began looking for a new home for her.

On January 5th, Josie found her new forever home. Or so she thought it was a forever home.

Fast forward two months and Josie found herself back at The Fort Lauderdale Animal Care & Adoption Center.

Josie's new owner told us he was moving and Josie was too big to move with him.

So poor Josie now sits and waits and hopes that her next home will love her and keep her forever.
