Local Pet Sitting and Positive Reinforcement Dog Training Company, Rocco’s Pack Pet Services, raised funds during the Coconut Grove Bed Race to sponsor low cost spay/neuter services in Homestead, FL, an area identified as high-need based on the rate of pet abandonment, which is higher than many areas in Miami-Dade County.

Rocco’s Pack in conjunction with Spay Neuter Miami Foundation, Miami Dade County Animal Services, This is The Dog, Dog Rescue and Miami Veterinary Coalition to Prevent and End Unwanted Pet Euthanasia will be offering an entire day of spay/neuter surgeries on Sunday, December 16, 2012.

Surgeries are available to dogs 50 pounds and under at a subsidized cost of  $45.00.  For an additional $5.00 for each, a microchip and common vaccines will be offered for dogs being sterilized.

Those interested in registering for the services are asked to visit: http://roccospack.com/spayneuter-dont-litter/low-cost-spayneuter-homestead-ymca/

Only the first 30 who register will be confirmed.

Others will be placed on a waiting list and will be contacted in the event of cancellations or for the next spay/neuter day.
