A South Florida man found a fitting way to end a half marathon run on Sunday. He proposed to his girlfriend who was waiting for him at the finish line.
John Ruiz of Miami crossed the finish line of the Fort Lauderdale 13.1 Marathon Sunday at a little under three hours.
That's when he proposed to Cicely Comandri by holding up a sign with the the words "Cici, will you marry me?"
It probably comes as no surprise that Comandri accepted Ruiz's proposal.
