The Seniors Animal Club at the Humane Society of Broward County wants you to get a jump start on your holiday shopping at the TailGate 2012 - a gift and craft fair to benefit the animals.  Come to the shelter’s east yard on November 10, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., to visit vendors showcasing their unique items for pets and people.

You’ll browse through pet accessories, treats, jewelry, plants, candles and more.

Delectable refreshments will be available and there will be raffles throughout the day.  Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome!

Join us between noon and 1 p.m. for some silly dog contests, including Longest Tail, Best Trick, and Most Patriotic Dog.
