HOMESTEAD, Fla. – A fatal motorcycle crash shut down Florida's Turnpike Tuesday afternoon at Campbell Drive in Homestead, authorities said.
Sky 10 was above the scene just after 3:30 p.m. as a Miami-Dade Fire Rescue helicopter landed on the southbound lanes of the highway to transport one person to the hospital and later died.

It's unclear whether anyone else was injured or what caused the crash.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
