MIAMI – The Miami Police Department will be conducting a multi-agency DUI checkpoint Thursday.
The checkpoint will take place from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. at Southwest 73 Court and Southwest Eighth Street, police said.

The checkpoint is intended to allow police to identify and apprehend impaired drivers, and ticket those who are unbuckled, Miami police said.
