Orange juice spills from tractor-trailer after I-75 crash

Crash snarls northbound traffic near Miami Gardens Drive

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. ā€“ A tractor-trailer carrying bottles of orange juice crashed Monday morning on Interstate 75, causing traffic delays in the northbound lanes.

The crash was reported shortly before 4 a.m. in the northbound lanes near Miami Gardens Drive.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the driver lost control of the tractor-trailer, crashed through a concrete barrier wall and struck aĀ support column to an overpass that is under construction.

The truck was carrying bottles of Simply Orange orange juice that could be seen scattered on the ground.

Simply Orange bottles were scattered all over the ground after a tractor-trailer crash on Interstate 75.

A view from Sky 10 appeared to show the mangled cab of the truck wrapped around the pillar.

The driver was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital in good condition.

Local 10 News traffic reporter Jenise Fernandez said two northbound lanes were blocked while workers cleared the debris.
