PLANTATION, Fla. – An overturned utility truck spilled its load Monday afternoon, closing the southbound lanes of Florida's Turnpike in Plantation for several hours.
The crash occurred near Sunrise Boulevard.

A utility truck carrying wooden power poles was blocking the southbound lanes. The power poles were also blocking the highway.
The on-ramp from Sunrise Boulevard to the turnpike was also closed.
All lanes reopened shortly after 4 p.m.
