Police said two men opened fire at a nightclub security guard and several surrounding businesses about 3:45 a.m.

Investigators said the two men were asked to leave the nightclub after causing a disturbance. Detectives said the men started shooting as they drove away.

Sky 10 was above the scene as several police officers collected evidence from the highway. Police tape blocked the northbound lanes near Northwest 36th Street.

The lanes were reopened later in the morning.
