Florence has been downgraded to a Tropical Depression, and it is expected to stay that way, according to the National Hurricane Center in Miami.
In the NHC's 11 a.m. advisory Monday, Florence had maximum sustained winds of 35 mph, moving west at 12 mph. Florence is located about 1515 miles east of the Leeward Islands.
The post-tropical depression is expected to weaken further during the next couple of days.
