MIAMI -

8:00PM - Showers and storms continue across South Florida with temperatures holding in the upper 70s for the rest of the evening.  Rain chances stays high both Saturday and Sunday.

1:30PM - Scattered showers and storms continue to move across South Florida.  Rain will be locally heavy at times this afternoon into this evening.  Watching an area of Low pressure near the Yucatan, this is likely to become a Tropical Depression or cyclone over the next 48 hours.  As a result, tropical moisture will be in place through the weekend, with heavy rain and isolated storms expected through the entire weekend.

7:00AM-Good Morning SFL. What a great night with the Heat win but I can't say the same about the weekend forecast. Rain chances today are at 50% and go up to 70% Saturday! A Low pressure center is near the Yucatan and will pump tropical moisture into SFL this weekend.

6:00AM - Today expect rain chances around 50% with cloudy skies and temperatures climbing into the upper 80s.  We are keeping a close eye on a weak area of low pressure near the Yucatan of Mexico. Several models take this system toward the big bend of Florida and that would mean rain chances increasing to 70-80% for South Florida. A few models take the system towards Texas and that would allow for little drier forecast
