Isaac was expected to turn north on Friday. The storm is expected to further weaken as it moves inland, and could become a tropical depression late Thursday.

Meantime, Tropical Depression #12 formed in the open Atlantic as Kirk was upgraded to a hurricane.

On Thursday, NOAA released a picture showing flight paths through Isaac.
