On this date, have you ever heard of spontaneous combustion? Well, apparently on this date in 1989, dry, hot Santa Ana winds were so strong that they set off motion-sensitive burglar alarms in Huntington Beach, Calif., and caused a huge pile of horse manure to spontaneously combust!
