9:00PM - Showers are showing up on the radar, mainly off shore for now.  Heading into the overnight and Monday afternoon, a persistent ocean breeze will push more of the showers inland across South Florida, some rain will be locally heavy.  For the latest on the tropics, check out our Hurricane section on www.justweather.com

11:00AM - Scattered showers offshore are moving onshore this Sunday.  Rain chance will stay at 40% through the afternoon and fall back to 30% by the evening hours. Expect a stray shower or two for tonight. Temperatures will stay warm, with highs in the lower 90s and lows in the upper 70s. Expect scattered showers and storms on Monday as well. Keep those umbrellas handy for the next couple of days. Tropical Storm Ernesto is passing south of Jamaica in the Caribbean Sea.  It is not a threat for Florida.  Tropical Storm Florence is thousands of miles away from South Florida.  We will track its journey over the Atlantic Ocean this week.  For more details on the tropics or local weather log on to justweather.com.
