12:50 p.m.: Near record heat is possible this afternoon with highs warming into the mid 80s. As of Noon, temperatures across South Florida ranged from the low 80s in the keys to the mid 80s in both Broward and Miami-Dade counties. High level cirrus clouds streamed overhead this midday and the Local10 Radar is nice and dry over our metro locations. Don't expect the sunshine to stick around this afternoon expect clouds to increase as the cold front moves into central Florida. Today won't be the best day out on the water with more clouds than sun. Temperatures will remain warm this weekend before dropping after the front finally passes Monday.
