Warning in effect until 12:30 a.m. Thursday

MIAMI – The National Weather Service in Miami issued Wednesday evening a Flash Flood Warning for east-central Miami-Dade County until 12:30 a.m. Thursday.

At 9:20 p.m. Wednesday, NWS received reports that indicated that water has entered structures in the Falls area due to the persistent heavy rains.

As additional heavy rain continues to develop and impact the same areas, forecasters said to expect these conditions to persist through the late evening hours.

An additional 1 to 3 inches will remain possible through midnight.
