7:00PM - Most of the showers and storms are on the west side of the Florida peninsula tonight. However, an east wind could bring a few showers, perhaps even steer a storm in off the Atlantic. The rain chance rises from 20% to 30% after midnight. By Tuesday afternoon the rain chance will be 40% as temperatures peak in the upper 80s. The remnants of Dorian are moving toward the west-northwest. The system is not expected to redevelop. And it remains to be seen if any leftover moisture from Dorian moves into South Florida on Thursday. Either way, there is still a good chance for scattered showers and storms toward the end of the week. For more information on the extended forecast log on to www.justweather.com.
