PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – An area of low pressure in the Bay of Campeche could bring rain to South Florida later this week.
Local 10 News meteorologist Julie Durda said Monday this area of low pressure is "producing heavy rain and gusty winds."

The National Hurricane Center in Miami is calling for a 40 percent chance of tropical cyclone development in the next five days.
Durda said the rain chances will start to increase by the end of the week.
We will have a wet week ahead," she said.
