- ...A period of snow showers and blowing snow with reduced visiblities likely this evening into the overnight... A strong cold front will drop south into far northern North Dakota late this afternoon and then spread south through the early to mid evening through the remainder of eastern North Dakota and northwestern and west central Minnesota. A band of snow showers will likely accompany the front along with winds of 20 to 35 mph. This will likely cause a period of greatly reduced visibility and poor travel conditions...especially in open country. The main winds should impact the Grand Forks region between 6 PM and 10 PM and then the Fargo region between 8 PM and 1 am.
