- ...Accumulating snowfall expected Monday into Tuesday... Snow is expected to develop late tonight and Monday as a low pressure system tracks across the northern plains. Bands of snow will continue to affect portions of eastern North Dakota and western Minnesota into Tuesday...as the system slowly shifts southeastward. While there is some uncertainty where the most persistent snow bands will develop...parts of the region may receive 3 to 5 inches of snowfall by Tuesday afternoon...with locally higher amounts possible. Northerly winds may become gusty by Monday afternoon into Tuesday...especially along and west of the Red River valley...which could result in some drifting of snow. Please stay tuned to the latest forecasts...especially if planning to travel early this week.
