A Vermont family’s peacock has been on the lam for six weeks with a flock of turkeys, The Associated Press reported.

The bird belongs to Rene and Brian Johnson. They said they hoped to get close enough to it to catch it with a net.

“My peacock has run off with the turkeys,” they posted to the Vermont Fish and Wildlife Facebook page. “Do you have any suggestions on how to catch the little twerp?”

Rene Johnson told WCAX-TV she thinks the peacock, named Pea, was lonely and sought turkey companions.
