Mark Harmon's dog attacked a crew member on the set of "NCIS," according to reports.

Dave, a 3-year-old pit bull mix, bit a crew member last week, according to TMZ.

The crew member was "roughhousing" with the dog -- something he had done before -- when the dog was startled or frightened and bit him, inflicting a wound that required 16 stitches, TMZ reports.

The injured crew member is OK and returned to the set.

Dave hasn't returned to the set since the incident, Fox News reports.
