(LAKANA) - A woman in Texas has been charged after police found exotic animals roaming around her Houston home with her child.

Police were sent to the home regarding allegations that homeowner Trisha Meyer tried selling to a man in California who sent $3,000 and didn't receive the pet. Officers were surprised to find exotic pets "roaming freely," including three tigers, a skunk, cougar and fox, KPRC reports.

Meyer's 14-year-old daughter was at home, and Meyer was arrested and charged with child endangerment.

Authorities said she did have a permit for the tigers.
