MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – McDonald's of South Florida is offering a free Extra Value meal Wednesday to first responders across South Florida.
A McDonald's representative said the fast-food chain wants to show its appreciation to local first responders for everything they do on a daily basis and their recent relief efforts during and after Hurricane Irma.

First responders, including firefighters, police officers, EMT/paramedic personnel and active military personnel, can redeem the offer Wednesday by presenting a valid badge or ID when ordering at the front counter at any of the McDonald's restaurants across Miami-Dade, Broward and Monroe Counties.
The offer applies only to medium Extra Value meals.
