Army personnel participated in a panel with other community STEM leaders and presented an interactive, multimedia leadership workshop. Students had an opportunity to discuss leadership traits and develop their personal plan of action to help them achieve future success.

The event is part of a national initiative between the U.S. Army and HHF to promote education, leadership and career opportunities within STEM-related fields. It provides local high school juniors and seniors information about STEM-related careers that they may have not otherwise known about.

Last year, the U.S. Army provided more than $280 million in scholarships in more than 50 STEM-related careers and continues to be a very supportive partner of HHF's efforts in this area.
