New exhibit at Miami Dade College highlights Native American art

Miccosukee Tribe, Miami Dade College collaborate to bring 'Across Generations'

MIAMI – The Miccosukee Tribe and Miami Dade College invite you to the unveiling of the Across Generations project, an eclectic and colorful body of Native American art and images.

The event will take place on Wednesday at Miami Dade College’s North Campus at 11380 NW 27th Ave. in Miami. The event is scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m. inside Building 5.

The exhibit will feature Native American paintings by Native American artists Bunky Echo Hawk, Kailani Sky and Tomahawk Greyeyes. It will also include pieces from Miccosukee and Seminole Tribal members, along with a special display of artwork created by Native American female artists.
