FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - In the spirit of making a difference, Lulu's Bait Shack is providing holiday meals to the Covenant House in Fort Lauderdale.

The Covenant House provides shelter for homeless, runaway and at-risk youth under the age of 21, including young moms and their children.

On Wednesday, Lulu's Bait Shack staff will spend time with the 15 residents currently at the shelter to enjoy turkey with all the trimmings.

"We are so appreciative of our friends at Lulu's Bait Shack for their generosity throughout the years," said Covenant House director of development Elisa Stone. "The young people particularly love having a hearty holiday dinner together. It gives our youth a sense of home and family for the holiday."

Covenant House Florida also provides services to help youth achieve independence through education, addiction management programs, job readiness training and much more.
