Santa spotted flying from roof top to roof top in Broward County, deputies say

'Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night,' Santa says

BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. – It was just after midnight on Christmas when a dispatcher when at  Broward Sheriff's Office announced over the scanners to that Santa Claus had been spotted flying  in his sleigh.

Santa's sleigh had a North Pole tag on it with the letters J-O-L-L-Y followed by the number one on it, the dispatcher said.

The sleigh was "guided by a red-nosed reindeer" who answered to the name of Rudolph.

"Rudolph is followed by eight tiny deer," the dispatcher said.

She then alerted deputies that if  they run into  Santa Claus they should help him "spread good will and cheer to all the boys and girls of Broward."

"The subject may be flying roof top to roof top, leaving toys behind," the dispatcher said. "The subject was also last heard saying 'merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.'"

She then wished all Broward deputies a merry Christmas.
