HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – An elementary school student and teacher were injured Tuesday morning in a golf cart accident, Broward County Public School District officials said.
The incident happened at Orange Brook Elementary School at 715 S. 46th Ave. in Hollywood.

School officials said the student and teacher were taken to Memorial Regional Hospital, but Hollywood Fire Rescue said they only transported the 11-year-old girl.
Authorities said the girl was struck by the golf cart and suffered a head injury and a lower torso injury.
