Before the ring or the rose there is the casting call.
Casting producers for "The Bachelor" were at the Riverside Hotel on Las Olas on Sunday to interview prospective singles for Season 21 of the popular series.
Nearly 150 single women attended the casting call.
"I want to live the American dream," a woman at the audition said. "I think I deserve a chance at love."
Florida has been well represented on the show in the past with at least one contestant hailing from the Sunshine State in all but three seasons.
Although casting in Fort Lauderdale is over, those who still want to apply to be a contestant can do so online.
ABC has not yet announced who the leading man will be in the reality show's next season.
