MIAMI – Hairstylist Fadi Fawaz said he found George Michael dead in bed on Christmas Day in north London.
In Miami Beach, the 53-year-old singer was remembered for his courage.
The pop star went public with his sexual orientation after a 1998 arrest for lewd behavior in a public restroom in Los Angeles.
"I was a teenager raised in a Catholic home in Peru," Jose Franco said on Instagram. "He made us feel like living gay and proud was possible."
