Borscht Film Festival co-hosts 'Moonlight' party in Miami

Miami to celebrate 'Moonlight' pride with street fest

MIAMI – Those who are rooting for "Moonlight " in the film's show down against "La La Land" at the Academy Awards are welcome to bring out their pots and pans on Sunday.

The Borscht Film Festival is co-hosting a free screening of the film at 5 p.m. and the "Moonlit Oscar Block Party" from 7 to 11 p.m. at the African Heritage Cultural Arts Center, 6161 NW 22nd Ave.

The block party is free, but organizers were asking participants to get a ticket on Event Brite.
