Seraphic Fire presents 'J.S. Bach: The Six Monets'

'Masterful works are perfect showcase for Seraphic Fire's vocal virtuosity'

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Miami's Seraphic Fire performed at the First United Methodist church in Coral Gables on Friday night and will perform in Fort Lauderdale on Saturday night.

Conductor Patrick Dupré Quigley will lead the chamber ensemble's performance of the "J.S. Bach: The Six Motets" at 7:30 p.m. at the All Saints Episcopal Church, 333 Tarpon Dr.

South Florida Classical Review's Lawrence Budmen is a fan.

"Quigley’s current choir is superior, both in terms of individual voices, the singers’ experience and corporate precision," Budmen wrote in his review. He added "These performances have the extra stamp of authority and passion that occurs when conductor and repertoire are perfectly matched."

Tickets for the Saturday night performance are $55 on Event Brite
