You don't have to wait on the world to change if you want to see John Mayer. The tattooed crooner is coming to the BB&T Center in Sunrise this Saturday at 7 p.m. Ticket prices vary.

Second Saturday Miami Black and White Gala

The grand opening of Second Saturday Miami will feature a special performance by Musiq Soulchild at the Hyatt Regency Miami. 

The event kicks off at 9 p.m. 

Movies

Sequels and prequels dominate the weekend new releases.

"Annabelle: Creation" is a horror prequel to the spinoff of "The Conjuring." It tells the story of a deranged doll that comes to life.

The next movie is a little more lighthearted.

"The Nut Job 2: Nutty by Nature" is the sequel to the 2014 animated comedy film starring the voices of Will Arnett, Maya Rudolph, Jackie Chan and Katherine Heigl.

Classic cinema lovers will enjoy the return of "Bonnie and Clyde," which will celebrate its 50th anniversary Sunday. The movie, based on the lives of notorious couple Bonnie Parker (Faye Dunaway) and Clyde Barrow (Warren Beatty), is being re-released in select theaters.

The Miami Marlins return home this weekend to host the Colorado Rockies. First pitch times are set for 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday.

Entertainment

Children will love meeting Daniel Tiger and Katerina Kittycat for "Be My Neighbor Day at the Ballpark" this Saturday at Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter.

The PBS characters will greet families before Saturday's game between the Jupiter Hammerheads and Florida Fire Frogs. The event is free and open to the public with a ticket. Gates open at 4 p.m.
