DJs and artists mix at after-party events in Miami and SoBe

During the second day of Art Basel Miami Beach, event organizers aim to entertain the contemporary art lovers on Saturday at stores, hotels and nightclubs in South Beach and Miami.

Basel House Mural Festival

SWARM event organizers plan to have 40 large scale mural projects across six city blocks, an interactive digital projection, a VR playground, a robot painting, a market place, about 30 food trucks, free music, cocktails and a Street Skool program. The festival is from Noon to 3 a.m., from Friday to Sunday at the RC Cola Plant, 550 NW 24th St., in Miami's Wynwood. Re-energize at HIVE

HIVE is a four-day cocktails and culinary village. There will be a circular mixology bar by Bitter Truth and experiences by Deep Eddy Vodka, Jack Daniels, Red Bull, Red Stripe, Chivas, Coppers's Craft, Revolucion Tequila and Jagermeister. The food hall includes PINCH, Casa Blanca, China Box, Tacos and Tattoos and Latin House. Admission is free. The event is from 12 p.m. to 3 a.m., Saturday at at 2250 NW 2 Ave., in Miami's Wynwood. 

Wu-Tang Clan concert

III Points is bringing the iconic hip-hop group at 9 p.m. at the Black Room at Mana Wynwood, 318 NW 23 St. Tickets range from $35 to $115. For more information, click here for the Showclix event page. 

50 Cent at Ora

50 Cent and DJ Fred Matters from Blind Dragon will be performing at Ora on Saturday night at 2000 Collins Ave. Tickets range from $50 for individual admission to $7,500 for a group of 8. 

Gucci Mane at E11EVEN

Gucci Mane will be performing after 10 p.m. at the 24-hours night club, 29 NE 11th St., in Miami's Entertainment District. Tickets range from $50 to $75

Paris Hilton at WALL

Paris Hilton will be spinning after 11 p.m. at the night club at 2201 Collins Ave., in Miami Beach. Tickets range from $125 for general admission to $5,000 for a table for 15 guests

Poolside party at The W

John Matos, better known as graffiti writer Crash, British graffiti writer Nick Walker, and Wilfredo Feliciano, better known as graffiti writer BIO, will be painting live, while Kasseem Dean, better known as Swizz Beatz, spins from 8 to 11 p.m. at the Wet Bar & Grille at the W South Beach, 2201 Collins Ave., in Miami Beach.  

Party all night at Basement

Designer and DJ Virgil Abloh, DJ DZA, and DJ Silent Addy will be playing from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. at the Basement at the Miami Beach Edition, 2901 Collins Ave. 

Party all night at Rockwell

1-O.A.K. , which has nightclubs in Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Manhattan, will be partnering with Rockwell Miami for parties Thursday, Friday and Saturday starting at 11:30 p.m. at 43 Washington Ave., in Miami Beach. 

Fake Fulfillment Center

Pop artist Shawn Kolodny's  5000-square-foot kaleidoscope-patterned rooms will be on exhibit from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday to Sunday at the Boulan South Beach Hotel, 2000 Collins Ave., in Miami Beach. 

Chance Encounters III

Jonathan Anderson, the creative director of Loewe, curated an exhibit featuring the works of photographer Lionel Wendt, ceramicist Sara Flynn and sculptor Richard Smith. The store opens from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at 110 NE 39 St. 

Candyland at Chrome Hearts

Chrome Hearts presents a pop-up coffee shop and candy wonderland Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at 4025 NE 2nd Ave., in Miami's Design District. For more information, call 786-953 7384.

Art and fashion pop-up store

German fashion designer Philipp Plein and artist Alec Andon, better known as Alec Monopoly, will open their pop-up store from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Thursday, Saturday and Sunday and from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. on Friday at the Fontainebleau Hotel, 4441 Collins Ave., in Miami Beach. 

In Reel Life

The Miami Beach Cinematheque presents In Reel Life, an exhibit by the graphic designers of Jacober Creative. It opens at 6 p.m. Tuesday and runs through Dec. 31 at 1130 Washington Ave., in South Beach. For more information, call 305-672-3293.

Apex Predator store 

Ukrainian artist Mariana Fantich and British artist Dominic Young have a pop-up storefront showcasing their Apex Predator: Darwinian Voodoo collection of designer items adorned with human eyes, teeth, hair and bones.  The store is at 221 NW 23 St., in Miami's Wynwood.

New Spring installation

COS, a modern clothing line, and Studio Swine, a collaboration between Japanese architect Azusa Murakami and British artist Alexander Groves, present New Spring, a public art installation at 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday to Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Temple House, 1415 Euclid Ave., in South Beach.  

Parties at Hotel South Beach

Terrace Heineken Biergarden takes over the terrace, and Guy Gerber the beach Saturday and DJ Lee Burridge Sunday. There will also be late night rooftop parties at 2341 Collins Ave., in Miami Beach. For more information, call 1-866-615-1111 or submit a query on their site.
