Brown, who lives in Virginia, faces a charge of felony battery.

The Grammy Award winner was arrested after his concert at the Coral Sky Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach.

Barbera said he paid a $2,000 bond and was released from jail.

According to WFTS, the ABC affiliate in Tampa, Brown's warrant stems from an incident in which he allegedly sucker punched a photographer in April 2017.

Brown has a history of violence, including a felony conviction for the 2009 assault on his then-girlfriend Rihanna. He was sentenced to five years of probation and community service.

In 2013, Brown struck a man outside a Washington, D.C., hotel and was charged with misdemeanor assault. He was later kicked out of a court-ordered rehabilitation facility for smashing his mother's car window during a family session.

Then there was a 2016 incident near Los Angeles when a woman called 911 to report that Brown had threatened her with a gun. Brown was arrested after an hours-long standoff with police and charged with assault with a deadly weapon.

Brown's 2011 "F.A.M.E." album earned him his first Grammy Award for best R&B album. He has also won numerous BET and Billboard Music awards.

Brown has also appeared in several movies, including "This Christmas" and "Takers."
