Fourth of July 2017: Your guide to events in Northeast Miami-Dade


AVENTURA, Fla. - Residents in the area of Northeast Miami-Dade have three main events in North Miami, Aventura and Miami Shores.



The City of North Miami is hosting a Tuesday festival and fireworks display on Tuesday. 

There will be bounce houses in the children's area and food at the Florida International University Biscayne Bay Campus at 3000 NE 151 St.

Turnberry Isle Miami is hosting events all weekend and fireworks on Tuesday. 

The Fourth of July event is from 6 to 9 p.m.  There will be a BBQ and live music. Tickets for children are $50 and $99 for adults. There is also a family four-pack for two adults and two children for $199.

City of Miami Shores residents will have two events on Tuesday. 

The Miami Music Festival Symphony Orchestra will perform at 6 p.m. at the Shepard & Ruth K. Broad Performing Arts Center at 11300 NE 2nd Ave. at Barry University. 

The concert will include Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture, music from Star Wars, Bernstein’s West Side Story, Copland’s Hoe-Down and Saturday Night Waltz.
