Highest, fastest, record-breaking roller coaster announced

Steel Vengeance to debut next spring

SANDUSKY, Ohio – One of the most incredible roller coasters in amusement park history is about to launch.

Cedar Point park in Sandusky, Ohio announced a new record-breaking roller coaster is set to debut in the spring.

Steel Vengeance will be the highest and fastest hybrid coaster in the world, reaching speeds of 74 mph and a top height of 205 feet.

Oh, by the way, it also includes a 90 degree drop and four inversions!

The coaster is being built on top of the park's wooden Mean Streak ride which closed last year.

Cleveland.com reports Steel Vengeance will last a full 2-minutes, 30-seconds.
