WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Matthew McConaughey and his wife, model Camila Alves, spent Saturday night hobnobbing in South Florida.
The 48-year-actor, who is in South Florida filming a new movie, attended the unveiling of RH West Palm in downtown West Palm Beach.
Dressed in blue jeans and a blue collared shirt that exposed a portion of his chest, McConaughey looked very much the part he's playing in "The Beach Bum," which is currently in production in Miami.
The opposite could be said of Alves, who was dressed to the nines in a flowing gold gown.
McConaughey is known to take his wife and three children with him when he's on location.
Saturday night's gala was hailed as "an integration of food, wine, art and design that reflects RH's quest to revolutionize physical retailing."
"It feels very intimate," Alves said. "Even though it's a big store, when you walk in, it feels very comfortable. You feel like you can sit on the furniture. You can touch. You can feel. It feels very intimate so you don't feel overwhelmed by it."
Supermodel Karolina Kurkova was also on hand for the celebration.
The 80,000-square-foot, four-story building is home to the business formerly known as Restoration Hardware.
"It's good music, great bar, great food, great drinks," Alves said. "It's a great party."
Production on "The Beach Bum," co-starring Isla Fisher and Snoop Dogg, is expected to continue through December.
