Robin Roberts updated fans on her condition Tuesday leading up to her bone marrow transplant.
The "Good Morning America" anchor went on medical leave after announcing she has MDS, myelodysplastic syndrome. Roberts has been receiving chemotherapy and is scheduled to have the transplant later this week.
This is what she wrote on her Facebook page with a picture surrounded by friends:
"Last Sun to lift my spirits l threw a little party at my apt for GMA fam. Next morning I walked through the hospital doors (w my guardian angels, mom & dad, back together and blazing a trail ahead of me.) Start of last week went well but the daily chemo/ treatment caught up to me by the weekend. My body is so weak but not my mind. YOU give me the courage to keep going. So today is my last day of chemo... Wed is called a day of rest, yay, right! The transplant is sched for Thursday morn. Bless you & Onward! XO"
