VIDEO: Gorilla splash-dances to its own beat at zoo

DALLAS – One day we'll all feel as free on the dance floor as the gorilla with all the moves in Dallas.

Someone call Deney Terrio because Zola the Gorilla is ready for his spot on Dance Fever after the Dallas Zoo posted video of him movin' and groovin'.

The video of Zola "breakdancing" in his pool was taken by the zoo's primate supervisor and posted to YouTube.

According to the Dallas Morning News, zoo officials say Zola's dancing is not a trained behavior and is something he enjoys doing on his own.

"Enrichment helps enhance the environment and lives of animals, like Zola, by providing them with mental and physical stimulation to increase natural behaviors. Enrichment can take many forms, but for this spunky great ape, it means playing and spinning in his favorite blue pool!" the zoo says on the post.

Zola, never stop being you.
