First baby born at Broward Health Coral Springs gives birth to baby girl 29 years later

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – The first baby born at Broward Health Coral Springs gave birth to her own daughter at the same hospital 29 years later.

Tamara Replogle was born April 2, 1987 at BHCS, formally known as Coral Springs Medical Center. She gave birth to her daughter at the same hospital Monday.

"I could have given birth elsewhere, but I didn't want to," said Replogle, who still lives in Coral Springs. "Broward Health Coral Springs is our special connection and how cool is it to come full circle and give my daughter the same beginning here. It is special."

Replogle is a psychotherapist and has been married to her college sweetheart for the past four years. She is the oldest of four siblings.

There is no word yet on what Replogle decided to name her baby girl.
