Oysters on the half shell with champagne mignonette

Ingredients:

1 dozen fresh oysters, shucked

1 tablespoon shallots, 1/8 inch diced

1 teaspoon crushed black peppercorns

¼ cup champagne

1 tablespoon champagne vinegar

¼ teaspoon kosher salt

Crushed ice for serving

Directions:

Combine all ingredients for the mignonette.
