Frozen Blood Orange Margaritas

Recipe adapted from Dean Fearing
4 cups fresh Blood Orange juice (about 12-15 oranges)
1 ½ cups fresh lime juice
1½ cups Cointreau
3½ cups tequila
*we added 1-2 cups simple syrup as we like it a little sweeter!!
Ice to puree

Blood Orange wedges for wetting the rim of the glass
Salt for the rim
Blood orange slices

Fill you blender halfway with ice.  Add in half of the Blood Orange juice, lime juice, Cointreau and tequila.  Puree until smooth.  Transfer the mixture to a pitcher for serving.  Repeat the process with the remaining ingredients.  Stir the two batches together to combine.

Serve in glass with a salted rim and garnish with a slice of Blood Orange.
