Faith & Family: Drive through church

Parishioners offer prayers in drive-through

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Drivers can find faith at a drive-through in Fort Lauderdale.

On Fridays along Commercial Boulevard, members of the Christian Life Center offer prayers to about 30 drivers who stop by.

The non-traditional form of ministry was thought of by Pastor Sol Levy.

"We are here to pray with them and agree that God is going move and perform a miracle in their life… no matter what that situation is," said Levy.

"I think it's awesome they are out there doing this… dedicating their time to something they don't have to do," said Jeremy Dudley.

Dudley brought his family after seeing the parishioners on the side of the road. He was recently struck by lightning and is undergoing physical therapy.

Dudley believes prayer helps the healing process.

"We just felt like it was the right thing to do. Perfect timing," said Dudley.
