Miami International Boat Show begins Thursday in new location

Thousands expected to attend event at Miami Marine Stadium on Virginia Key

MIAMI ā€“ The annual Miami International Boat Show begins Thursday in a new location.

After years at the Miami Beach Convention Center, it's now at the Miami Marine Stadium Park & Basin on Virginia Key.

More than 100,000 people are expected to attend the events held from Thursday through Monday.

According to the event's website, more than 1,200 boats will be on display both on land and in the water. Additionally, there will be daily boating seminars and exhibits in closed and open-air tented exhibits.Ā 

The event begins Thursday with the annual Premier Day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The regular show will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday through Sunday, and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday.Ā 

COSTS:

Premier Day: $35

Adult (age 16+): $20Ā 

Two-Day Pass: (Friday-Monday): $35

Five-Day Pass: $85

15 and younger: Free

While limited parking is available on Virginia Key, free shuttle and water taxi service to the show will be provided daily. There are multiple pick-up locations across downtown Miami, Brickell, and Coconut Grove. For more information, click here.Ā
