Starbucks pushes back PSL's release date

Pumpkin Spice Latte will be out later this year, September 8

The leaves may not change in South Florida to warn that fall is upon us, but the start of the new school year does, as well as the return of Starbucks' seasonal drink the Pumpkin Spice Latte.

After announcing this week that the PSL will indeed now have real pumpkin in it minus the artificial flavors, the Seattle-based coffee giant released the start date for all Pumpkin Spice Latte lovers for Sept. 8.  Some customers will actually be able to savor the drink ahead of schedule starting Sep. 4 in select cities.

The launch comes just a few days after last year's release date of Sept. 2.  Labor Day falls later this year, Sept. 7, and Starbucks is likely following suit.
