Leverock said the man walked into the banks, implied he was armed and demanded money from employees. There were customers in the banks during the robberies, but no injuries were reported.

Investigators said the "Shaky Bandit" received his name because his hands shake during the robberies. He is believed to be involved in at least nine other bank robberies in South Florida, including banks in Oakland Park, Fort Lauderdale, Boynton Beach, Margate, Wilton Manors and Jupiter.

Anyone with information about the man's identity or the robberies is asked to call the FBI at 754-703-2000.
