PLANTATION, Fla. - One man died and four others were injured in a shooting in a Plantation home Saturday night, according to the Plantation Police Department.

Serge Pierre Dumas, 28, was found dead inside the home in the 12000 block of Northwest Fourth Court where a party with about 400 guests was taking place, police said.

Three women and a man were transported to Broward Health Medical Center, and sources tell Local 10 News that two of the female victims are related.

Officers were on the scene outside the home just before midnight responding to a noise complaint when the gunshots rang out inside.

A witness who was at the party, which was called (expletive) What Happens Tonight,  said he ran upstairs with some others when the shooting started. He said when he got outside, the SWAT team was there.

He said he heard about a half dozen shots and a man came in and said "my friend is dead."

The witness said the house was not furnished and it looked like someone was moving out.

Dumas' girlfriend told Local 10 News that her boyfriend is leaving behind a 1-year-old son, and that he was an up-and-coming hip-hop artist.

"I don't know what the party was about, or who organized it, or how people got invited to it," Detective Phil Toman, of the Plantation Police Department said.  "We're still investigating."
