PARKLAND, Fla. – The Broward Sheriff's Office traffic homicide unit is investigating a fatal crash that was reported Thursday morning in Parkland.
The crash between a roofing truck and pickup truck was reported in the area of Parkside Drive and Loxahatchee Road.
BSO spokeswoman Gina Carter said three people inside the roofing truck were taken to Broward Health North, and the driver of the pickup truck was pronounced dead at the scene.
Coral Springs Fire Rescue officials said the surviving victims are listed in serious condition.
The crash remains under investigation.
